One Earth was released by Nonwoven Network, LLC (NwN) in the spring of 2018 and has been a hit with tea and coffee companies ever since. It offers the world’s most environmentally friendly tea and coffee bag. The patented material is certified compostable and biodegradable in 21 days, USDA 100% Biobased, certified plastic free, and non-GMO. One Earth is sourced from sugar cane, manufactured in the United States, and NwN is a certified Woman Business Enterprise. When Covid-19 first arrived in the United States, there was an increased demand for providing coffee in single serve, no contact forms. Many coffee companies were on the search for a teabag style coffee bag and One Earth became the solution. The One Earth material has no dusting and is perfect for coffee and other dusty products. The material has proved to be excellent in single serve bags, pods, and cold brew larger bags. Customers can use the One Earth® material knowing that it is environmentally friendly and non-toxic. The One Earth® material works best on ultrasonic tea packaging machines or well controlled heat-sealing machines. There are also many co-packers who carry the One Earth products. The entire product line consists of tea or coffee bag material in 21gsm and 24gsm weights, string, tag, and envelope. To learn more about One Earth® please visit: www.one-earth.world.
